Our interchangeable KR11 Electronic Knit Contour Controller works with all three, making it possible for you to build up the full range of needle bed gauges at a budget conscious price.
All three needle beds knit the full range of stitch patterns - stockinet, Fair Isle, tuck, slip, punch lace, weaving and motif knitting. Choose the stitch pattern you want with the one-touch stitch selection lever. What could be easier?
KR11 KNIT CONTOUR
Add the Electronic KR 11 Knit Contour to your Modular System and make sure everything you knit is a perfect fit. Work from a diagram pattern – you select the yarn, the stitch pattern, the stitch size and the garment shape so you have complete control over every element of the finished garment. The Knit Contour diagram shows you exactly how many stitches to cast on, and when and where to increase and decrease.

Add a ribber to your machine for a real professional finish. Knit the full range of needle arrangements 1 x 1, 2 x 1, 2 x 2, 3 x 3 etc., with that proper cast on edge featured on the most expensive knitwear. Choose from full or half Fisherman's rib, herringbone swing, drive lace, pin tuck, tuck rib and slip rib to knit fashionable surface texture. Add extra colours and knit those floats in with double Jacquard. Standard and fine gauge ribbers also make pile knitting. You can even add the RJ 1 Bird's Eye Jacquard carriage to the SRP 60N standard gauge ribber to knit the ultimate double Jacquard fabric.
The same ribbers fit both punchcard and electronic machines, so if you are upgrading to an electronic machine you don't need to splash out on a new ribber.
Add a YC 3 Double Bed Colour Changer to the SK 830 Fine Gauge, or a YC 6 Single and Double Bed Colour Changer to the SK 840 Standard Gauge to speed up colour changing. Both take up to four colours - select the one you want at the touch of a button.
The YC 6 even doubles up as a Single Bed Colour Changer to knit quick and colourful stockinet stripes, tuck, slip and even Fair Isle patterns.

The ground-breaking Single Action Transfer Lace Carriage fits the SK 840 Standard Gauge machine. Now you can knit delicate lace patterns as quickly and easily as stockinet - no extension rails - no extra transfer rows - one pass of the carriage transfers stitches and knits stockinet in one smooth and easy action. You can even knit fashion lace and motifs with same carriage.
